How to use Browsealoud
If you would like your computer to read the information on this website aloud or if you would like to easily translate text into other languages, then you should download and install BrowseAloud.

BrowseAloud is a computer programme which is free and straightforward to use. When you run the software, as you move your cursor over words, they are spoken aloud.
Not only does BrowseAloud read and translate pages on the Accent Group website aloud, it will also read and translate PDF and Microsoft Word documents. It can be customised so you can control the voice, word pronunciations and speech highlighting.
If you would like specific information on how to download and use BrowseAloud, we recommend that you look at the support page on the BrowseAloud website. BrowseAloud’s support page contains very clear instructions, frequently asked questions on the software, and there are some user friendly videos which explain the software in detail.
Why have we 'speech enabled' our website?
By 'speech enabling' our website, we are providing another way for people who find it hard to read to access information and services. This includes people with dyslexia or learning difficulties, people whose first language is not English, or any person with a visual impairment.
